I Won Aesthetic Therapist of the Year! 🏆💫

I have some incredible news to share — over the weekend, I was named Aesthetic Therapist of the Year! 🎉💛
To say I’m proud is an understatement. To be recognised at this level, among so many amazing and talented practitioners, is something I’ll never forget. It’s a moment I’ll treasure forever.

And the timing couldn’t be more special — because this week also marks 6 years since I opened Authentic Aesthetics! 🥂
What a journey it’s been… highs, lows, lessons and growth I never imagined. So I thought it was the perfect time to reflect on what I’ve learned — and what I wish I’d known when I started out.

If I could go back and give myself some advice, here’s what I’d say:

👉 1. It’s going to be hard — but you’ll get stronger every step of the way.
No week will ever be the same. Some days you’ll question everything, others you’ll feel like you’re flying. But you’ll surprise yourself with how resilient you become. Challenges won’t shake you like they used to — they’ll shape you. 💪

👉 2. The money will fluctuate — and that doesn’t mean you’re failing.
There will be quieter months that make you panic and busy months that feel like you’ve cracked it. But this business will grow — just not in a perfectly straight line. Keep going. Stay focused. Keep delivering value. It does pay off. 💰📈

👉 3. You’re never going to love a job like this — and you’ll never work for anyone else again.
This industry is special. It’s demanding and all-consuming, but the fulfilment you’ll feel is unmatched. The joy of helping people feel confident in their own skin is a kind of magic — and once you taste that, there’s no going back. 💖
